With all the classic toppings and a simple creamy coleslaw, this hot dog is a total summer comfort food.

Ingredients


  • 4 POM® Ultra Soft Hot Dog Buns
  • 1 bag (12 oz/350 g) coleslaw mix (about 4 cups/1 L)
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) prepared coleslaw dressing
  • 4 all-beef hot dogs
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) fruit ketchup
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) relish

Directions


Toss coleslaw with dressing; refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat grill; grease grate well. Grill hot dogs according to package directions. Grill buns for 30 to 60 seconds per side or until toasted.

Assemble hot dogs in buns. Dress each hot dog with relish, fruit ketchup and 1/3 cup (75 mL) coleslaw. Serve with remaining coleslaw on the side.

Tip: Add 1/4 tsp (1 mL) celery seed to coleslaw if desired.
